Rick Walker
![]() | Rick Walker serves as President and Chief Financial Officer of Applied Data Trends, Inc (ADT). In his current role, he is responsible for managing the administrative functions of ADT, including accounting, contracts, security, facilities, and human resources. Mr. Walker holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Pennsylvania State University and a Master's of Business Administration from the Florida Institute of Technology. Mr. Walker served in the U.S. Naval Security Group for eight years and was stationed at bases in Sabana Seca, Puerto Rico and Adak, Alaska. While on Adak, Rick served as the Division Officer for Communications and Cryptographic Maintenance. In this capacity he was responsible for the maintenance of all Special Intelligence Communications for the island. When his tour of duty on Adak was completed, he was selected to be a member of a special team charged with designing a Presidential Crisis Management Facility for the Executive Office of the President of the United States. During this assignment, Rick.s duties included the responsibility to supervise the installation and maintenance of computer and communications systems used by White House staff and other officials at the highest levels of decision making within the Executive Branch of the U. S. Government. During his career, Mr. Walker focused on mathematical modeling and software development. He has exposure to diverse military-related systems ranging from strategic ELINT collection systems to the PATRIOT Air Defense System. He has managed programs and personnel in such diverse areas as: systems engineering, software engineering, systems analysis, test, documentation, and configuration management. |
