Applied Data Trends Achieves CMMI Level-3

Huntsville, AL – September 9, 2009. Applied Data Trends, Inc. (ADT) announces it has achieved Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level-3. ADT now joins the ranks of fewer than 1,700 companies worldwide, and only an elite handful within the Huntsville area with this prestigious achievement.

CMMI Level-3 was developed by a group of experts from industry, government, and the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at Carnegie Mellon University. It qualifies ADT for direct award of Government contracts in mainline software development programs. Achieving CMMI Level-3 also presents ADT as a more valuable teammate for Tier-One contractors as it is evidence of mature, documented, repeatable processes for software development and integration.

ADT Executive Management would like to thank all employees and Mr. Eric Grigorian, P.E. as CMMI Process Improvement Lead for their assistance in achieving CMMI Level-3.

Mr. Derrick T. Copeland, CEO of ADT states, “Eric has dedicated a great deal of his time, energy and ingenuity to enable us to achieve CMMI Level-3 expeditiously. Eric and his team are an example of the dedication and team-work that our employees demonstrate on day-to-day basis.”

Mr. Eric Grigorian, P.E.  adds, “I would like to thank our internal and external team members: Debbi Pannell, Amanda Nunley, Hudson Copeland, Sandra Cepeda, Robert Shaw, Nedra Mahone, Pam Brooker and ADT Project Leads, Division Directors, and Support Organizations for their significant efforts and contributions towards meeting this goal.”
